Grand Am Gt race car help

I'm building a 97 2.4L Gt race car. Need some tech help. Want to remove ac pulley and need to know if I need to replace it with something else or just change belt size? Looking for HP gain with it off. Thanks.

I thought that too but those guys know what they are doing and aren't asking what kind of power gain you get from removing AC.

If he's just starting he may not know. Racers aren't really all that great at giving new racers pointers... if you were the guy that helped the new guy, who just beat you, you kinda feel like a jackarse. I would imagine that is the deal, he's starting out and wanting some help that he isn't getting via the track.

I'm picturing more of a 16th year old gangster who thinks he can actually make his GA fast by taking out the AC....
