tipnitty is a redneck. Version 2

Here she is in all of her glory. Put some miles on her today and got to know more about it. I love this thing.

It has a 2.5v USB charging port on the right, a USB sync on the left, SD slot and aux input

More storage underneath that. I even have 2 glove boxes in front of the passenger seat. There are slots on either side of the center console for paper storage and what not.

The switch for the back window and 3 switches for garage door presets.

Dash display can do any number of things. You can pick where you want individual items on the screen.

You can control most any setting in the truck through the touch screen. Pretty awesome.

You can control everything in the gauge cluster screen with the arrows on the steering wheel.

You can scroll though play lists and adjust the volumes and what not through these on either side on the back of the wheel.

The mirrors are also auto tinted when people have bright lights behind you.

Dont you just love the rear glass switch to open/close it?

The cummins we have does all the same pretty much. On the dash there is a screen you can monitor a number of things on the vehicle. You can view tire pressure, trans temp, mpg (my best was 34mpg ) coolant temp, oil pressure (there is also a analog gauge in the cluster) and a number of other things. Very neat.

Not sure how the title of the thread got all screwed up, but oh well.

It is so nifty. You can see pretty much anything you want. And a big selling point was the center console with the usb hook ups. I love that.

The Ram is my favorite of them all...especially the sports. I'm impressed that this thing has so many options for only being a Big Horn. Kudos to Dodge for adding the nice gauge cluster and the big ass uConnect infotainment screen. Nice truck, sir!

I had this thing for the day...boss handed me the keys and said have fun. Just a basic SLT with a power seat, power rear window, Sat radio and the info display in the gauge cluster, but I love the way these things drive. *Insert obligatory parked on snowbank pic*

No I'm across the street from a FVW. Just that one truck is always there . I wish they all came with the boxes, But I'll live without it.

Indeed it is an option, a $1k option. I could have got the ram boxes, or the premium seating, tinted windows, self tinting mirrors, premium sound, and back seat storage. I like my choice, the stereo sounds tits.

I always liked the ram. When I drove my first one last week, it exceeded my expectations and I knew I had to have one. If you guys are looking into a truck and like the look of these, driving one will make you even happier.

While backing out of the garage last night, it was made evident that I can't see a damn thing when its dark. So I'm going to start looking for some LED reverse bulbs so I can actually see what I'm doing.

Also ordered some OEM slush mats from dodge. They look pretty slick.

i know your truck is pretty loaded. if it has the reverse cam, you can also get infared 12v LED's that will light up the camera's picture without lighting up the night sky.

The reverse camera was part of a different package that I didn't get. Chose some other ammenities over the camera and ram boxes. So right now I have no reverse system on the truck. I might talk to the dealer and have it put on with a remote start.

I talked to a guy that makes LED kits for the ram and he makes custom HID's for the ram as well since it has the canbus system. I'll be getting a whole bunch of lighting **** from him at some point.
