Starglow Gettin' there
Thumbs down NAPA Tensioners SUCK...!

I bought a new belt tensioner from NAPA and installed it back in October of last year. Last weekend the tensioner spring was making an awful noise, so I got another one from NAPA under warranty. The noise went away and this replacement tensioner lasted all of one week and now the noise has returned so the tensioner needs to be replaced yet again. Not sure if I'm going back to NAPA for another one or install the spare Delco one I have on hand. Don't buy this piece of crap NAPA tensioner....the springs in them are junk. It might be made by Dorman, but I'm not positive on that.

Part Number: NOE 6601877

NOE (formerly BK) linecode tensioners are sometimes disappointing -- the same goes for tensioners sometimes listed under TEM line code. Tensioners under NBH line code are Gates products and are typically very good parts.
