2000 gt wont start

So my ride ran fine forever. The other day , i parked it and all was fine. The next day it just kept cranking , but would not start. I can hear the fuel pump kick on when the key is in the on position. I took the ignition module to get tested and it passed. not sure what to test next??? any ideas??

Start by relearning the passlock.

GM 10 Minute RELEARN procedure.

As Metallman56 said regardless of what the security light is doing try the relearn anyways.

If it doesn't work the first time try it again sometimes it takes a few tries. If the relearn doesn't solve your problem you will have to start with the basics. Check fuel pressure, scan for codes, check compression ect...

I would start with fuel pressure even though the pump is running that doesn't mean you have fuel pressure.

so today i started to drop my gas tank and replace the fuel pump.
since the car sat for a couple of days....i decided to take the battery to get it checked. I knew is was probably low , but wanted to get it charged and tested.
Guy said it was at 83% but tested bad. He gave me a new battery for free since it was under warranty. Dropped it in ...bolted it down...hooked it up....
she fired right up !!!
Saved a fortune, such a relief !!

These cars are very sensitive to voltage fluctuations.
Battery, battery cables, and charging system need to be in tip top condition.
Seemingly minor things will cause a wide array of problems.
